Step 1: Enable Notifications in the App
First, you must ensure the Reverse Health app is configured to send you alerts.
Open the Reverse Health app and go to the My Day tab.
Tap the Human Icon (My Profile) in the top-right corner.
Select the Settings tab at the top.
Locate Notifications and toggle the switch to ON.
Note: If the toggle is already ON but you aren't receiving alerts, your phone's system settings are likely blocking them. Follow the steps below for your specific device.
Step 2: Check Your Phone System Settings
For iPhone (iOS)
Open your iPhone Settings.
Scroll down to find and tap Reverse Health in your app list.
Tap Notifications.
Toggle Allow Notifications to ON (Green).
Pro-Tip: Ensure "Immediate Delivery" is selected rather than "Scheduled Summary" to get your fasting and meal reminders exactly on time.
For Android
Open your phone Settings.
Tap Apps (or Apps & notifications).
Find and select Reverse Health.
Tap Notifications.
Ensure Show notifications is toggled to ON.
🛠️ Troubleshooting Checklist
If you’ve followed the steps above and still aren't getting alerts, check these common "silent" blockers:
Do Not Disturb / Focus Mode: Ensure your phone isn't in "Do Not Disturb," "Sleep," or "Work" mode. These modes are designed to hide all incoming notifications.
Low Power / Battery Saver Mode: Many devices disable "background data" when the battery is low. This can prevent the app from sending a reminder at the correct time.
Volume Check: Ensure your phone's "Alert" volume is turned up and that the physical silent switch (on iPhones) isn't flipped to red.
Still not receiving alerts?
If you've checked all the settings and notifications still aren't appearing, try a quick "refresh":
Toggle notifications OFF in the app and in your phone settings.
Restart your phone.
Toggle both back ON.
