Troubleshooting Your Measurement

Written by Coach

Use these steps if body composition data is missing, the reading is unstable, or the scan stops early.

Before measuring

  1. Wait for 0 kg first Don't step on until the display shows 0.0. Let it settle fully, then step onto the center of the scale.

  2. Pick up the handle in time Grab the handle as soon as the scale wakes up. Pick it up before stepping on and keep both hands on the grip throughout.

Contact quality

3. Improve finger contact Hold the metal strips with dry, relaxed fingers. Keep steady contact from start to finish — don't lift or shift your fingers during the scan.

4. Place feet on conductive areas Make sure your bare feet land on the sensor zones. Remove anything between your feet.

Stay still during the scan

5. Stand still Body sway can cut the scan short. Keep your weight centered and avoid leaning or shifting.

6. Keep fingers steady Hold the handle at the same height throughout. Don't loosen your grip or move your fingers.

7. Keep thighs slightly apart Legs pressed together can block the signal. Stand naturally with a small gap between your thighs until the scan finishes.
