Getting Started: The First 24 Hours & Beyond

Welcome to Reverse Health! This guide is designed to help you navigate the app and make your first 24 hours a success.

📱 Navigating the App

The app is divided into key sections located on the bottom navigation bar.

1. My Day (Home Base)

This is your daily command center.

  • Daily Progress: At the top, you can see your current streak and progress markers.

  • Trackers: Depending on your plan, you will see your Fasting Schedule, Step Counter, and Water Tracker (tap "+" for every glass).

  • Today's Tasks: Log your meals, record movement via the "Let’s move" button, and check in with the mood tracker ("How are you feeling?").

  • Settings & Support: Tap the Human Icon in the top-right corner to access your profile, manage your subscription, or contact customer care.

2. Meal Plan

This is where your personalized nutrition lives.

  • Summary: View your daily calorie and macro goals (Fat, Carbs, Protein). You can log meals directly from here by tapping the "+" icon next to Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, or Snack.

  • Recipes: Browse the full database, filter by cooking time, and add meals to your "Favorites" or "Shopping List".


🍽️ How to Log Your Meals

When you are ready to log a meal, tap the "+" button on the Summary screen or tap the recipe under "Planned for Today". You will see three main options:

  • I ate this: Select this if you followed the assigned recipe exactly.

  • I ate something else: Choose this if you substituted the meal with a different dish.

  • I skipped it: Tap this if you did not consume this meal at all.

Using "I Ate Something Else"

If you choose this option, the app provides three ways to ensure your macros stay accurate:

  1. Pick from recipes: Search our database for a different Reverse Health recipe that matches what you ate.

  2. Add manually: Enter the name, calories, and macros (Carbs, Protein, Fat) yourself for a custom entry.

  3. Scan with AI: Simply snap a photo of your plate, and the AI will automatically estimate the nutritional content for you.


🚀 Your First 24 Hours: A Step-by-Step Plan

Step 1: Review and Swap Your Meals Open the Meal Plan tab and look at tomorrow's schedule.

  • Action: If you see a meal you don't like, tap it and select "I ate something else" then "Pick from recipes" to swap it for something you enjoy.

Step 2: Watch the Welcome Video Navigate to the Grow tab and select the introductory video.

  • Action: Watch the short introduction to understand the program's philosophy and stay motivated.

Step 3: Log Your First Win Build a habit instantly.

  • Action: Drink a glass of water and tap the "+" on your Water Tracker on the My Day dashboard.


💡 Tips for Long-Term Success

  • Track "Non-Scale Victories": Don't just obsess over the weight tracker. Pay attention to improvements in sleep, energy levels, and digestion logged in your mood tracker.
