Getting Started: The First 24 Hours & Beyond

The Grand Tour: Navigating the App

The app is divided into a few key sections, located on the bottom navigation bar. Here is what you will find in each tab:

1. My Day

Think of this as your "Home Base." This is where you will spend most of your time. It shows you exactly what is on the agenda for today:

  • On the top you’ll see the days showing your progress, by tapping on it you’ll see your streak, containing Meal planner, Movement, Mood & symptoms, Water tracking, Weight tracking and Daily tips.

    • Customers under the Fasting product type will have their Fasting Schedule displayed, which they can adjust to their liking.

    • Customers who bought the Walking program will see their Steps Counter displayed here. It will automatically sync with the third-party device.

  • Under TODAY’S TASKS you will see your today’s meals, Let’s move button that lets you input your today’s movement, Mood tracker (How are you feeling?) - to check in with adding your today’s mood and symptoms (energy level, quality of sleep, digestion) and Daily tip.

  • Water tracker let’s you log your water intake for today. Just tap + for every glass of water you drank today.

2. Meal plan

Here you will find your personalized meal plan. Your daily macros have already been calculated based on the quiz you completed at the start. Since these are personalized for you, you don’t need to calculate anything yourself.

Let’s review the tabs showed at the top of the screen here:

  • Summary shows you the main details of your meals: Calories, Fat, Carbs, Protein. By clicking “+” on the right side of the meals, you will mark the meals as eaten and they will appear in the summary. If you manually log a meal, for example breakfast, you can mark it as a Favorite so you don’t have to log it again each time. At the bottom you’ll see your planned meals.

  • Recipes tab shows the meals available in the meal plan. You can browse them, add to your favorites, filter by cooking time and type of meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack). By clicking on the recipe you’ll be able to see the ingredients, add them to your shopping list, instructions on how to make the meal and nutritional information under “Details”.

  • Supplements will guide you to our shop.

3. Fitness

This is your exercise tab showing you all the exercises available according to your purchased plan.

  • Select the type of exercise you want to do from the list of tabs on top of the screen and start your workout.

  • Start with Day 1 and you’ll be shown the details of a workout - you can check them to prepare for the exercises - see the duration, equipment needed, instructions. Once done - tap “Start workout” at the bottom of the screen.

  • You’ll be shown the full workout video for following along with the instructor.

  • Once the workout is complete - you’ll be prompted to select “Continue” and your workout will be checked as done and added to your streak.

4. Tracker

The Tracker tab helps you keep an eye on your progress and log your daily activities. Here’s what you can do:

  • See your completed workouts

  • Track your weight

  • Check the days you logged your meals

  • Record your movement

  • Log your mood

  • Note any symptoms (Energy Level, Quality of sleep, Digestion)

  • Keep track of your water intake

Note: For customers with the Fasting product type, completed workouts will not be displayed.

5. Grow

Reverse Health isn't just about what you eat; it's about understanding why. This tab houses the video courses and educational articles. We highly recommend watching one video a day to understand the science behind your plan and more

  • Learn tab lets you choose from Course and Articles - each showing the category, topic and reading duration. Feel free to choose anything that interests you or simply do one course or article per day.

  • Community tab prompts you to join our Facebook community, helps you find answers to the most frequently asked questions and lets you connect with our customer care team if there’s anything else you want to know or need help with.

  • Shop tab lets you purchase additional workouts and our ebooks.

Your First 24 Hours: A Step-by-Step Plan

It is easy to feel overwhelmed on Day 1. To keep it simple, focus only on these four tasks during your first 24 hours.

Step 1: Review Your Meal Plan

Open the Meals tab and look at what is scheduled for tomorrow.

  • Action: If you see a breakfast you know you won't eat (like oatmeal if you hate texture), use the Swap feature immediately to find something you enjoy, like eggs or a smoothie. Please note that swapping meals should stay within the same category: breakfast to breakfast, lunch to dinner (or vice versa), and snacks to snacks.

  • Tip: You don't have to cook three times a day. You can cook a double portion of dinner and have it for lunch the next day!

Step 2: Watch the Welcome Video

Go to the Learn tab or check your Today dashboard.

  • Action: Watch the introduction video. It’s short, but it explains the philosophy of the program and will get you motivated.

Step 3: Log Your First Glass of Water

Build momentum instantly.

  • Action: Drink a glass of water, open the app, and tap the water tracker on your Dashboard.

  • Result: You have just recorded your first win. It feels good, right?


Beyond Day 1: Tips for Long-Term Success

Once you settle into a rhythm, here is how to get the most out of the Reverse Health app.

Track Progress, Not Just Weight

We ask you to log your weight, but don't obsess over the daily number. Look at the trend over weeks. Also, pay attention to "Non-Scale Victories" (NSVs) like better energy, less bloating, and better sleep.

Join the Community

There is a link in the app (usually in the Settings or Profile area) to join our private Facebook group. This is where thousands of members share recipes, struggles, and encouragement. It is an incredibly powerful tool for days when motivation is low.

Use the Support Chat

If you get stuck—whether it’s a technical glitch or a nutritional question—don't suffer in silence. Use the "Help" or "Support" chat feature in the Profile tab. Our team is there to help you navigate bumps in the road.

Imperfection is Okay

You might miss a day of logging, or eat a meal that isn't on the plan. That is completely fine.

  • The Rule: Don't wait for "next Monday" to start over. Just get back on track with your very next meal. The app will be there waiting for you, ready to go.
